HCF Open Call Grants

Last year, the Hamilton Community Foundation provided more than $5 million in grants to local programs to improve the quality of life in our city. Many grants are available through an open-call process for which any qualifying organization may apply. The chart below summarizes the areas of focus for these open-call grants; for detailed criteria and process, please click on the fund name. Community Fund - TPTII: Building Strong Communities Within the context of reducing and preventing poverty
  • improving the quality of life in neighbourhoods
None Required Recipients of 2010-11 TPTII neighbourhood hub grants may apply for a funding extension to June 30, 2012. Please apply by December 16, 2011.  We are not accepting new applications at this time.  
Community, Health & Education Research Grants
  • Innovative research in community health, with particular interest in applied research and collaborations involving respiratory health issues
