HCF Grants

Ontario Endowment for Children and Youth in Recreation Fund

Purpose

The Ontario Endowment for Children and Youth in Recreation supports recreational initiatives that enhance the health of young people in our community. Recreation is defined in its broadest terms. It includes both structured and unstructured activities in recreation, sport, culture and the arts. It is the intention of the Board of Directors that this Fund be maintained as an open fund, so that other donors with similar goals can help to build the capital, and ultimately increase its impact on our community.

Approximately $40,000 will be available for grants yearly for projects in Hamilton. While the size and number of grants awarded will vary with the scope and need, grants will be in the range of approximately $1,000 to $10,000 per project.
